Head of Sales – Public Sector | Hybrid | London

A high-impact technology business is looking for an experienced and commercially astute Head of Sales to lead growth across key public sector verticals. This is a standout opportunity for a senior sales leader who thrives on building strategy, leading high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable revenue growth across complex markets.

The Role:

  • Lead sales strategy and execution across a portfolio of public sector accounts.

  • Act as a player-coach - managing, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team while also owning key accounts and personally driving new business opportunities.

  • Drive growth across sectors including healthcare, local councils, fire, ambulance, and justice services.

  • Develop and implement scalable go-to-market plans that deliver revenue and market share growth.

  • Oversee end-to-end bid management and tender submissions.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and sector forums.


About You:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the public sector.

  • Proven track record of delivering against revenue targets.

  • Confident leading from the front - equally comfortable managing a team and rolling up your sleeves to win and grow accounts.

  • Skilled at building high-trust relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Experienced in leading complex sales cycles and navigating public procurement processes..

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term vision and day-to-day execution.


The Package:

  • Basic salary up to £110,000 plus bonus of £30,000.
